General Assembly 1
GA1(01)
Piracy and threats to commercial shipping in the Malacca Strait, one of the most important waterways in the world, continue to this day. General Assembly 1 will discuss, in the first conference, how to best combat this piracy which impacts the global economy.

GA1(02)
In the second session of the conference, General Assembly 1 will discuss stability in the continuing nuclear arms race. In addition, they will deliberate on how to ensure that proliferation is regulated and the situation regarding nuclear weapons stays stable for the good of humanity.

GA1(03)
In the final session of General Assembly 1, delegates will discuss the weaponization of natural resources and its impacts. They will also examine how to ensure that this issue does not become a threat which inhibits worldwide development.
General Assembly 3

GA3(01)
The extent to which governments can limit civil liberties in times of conflict remains a controversial topic. It seems almost unresolvable, and it is up to the GA3 committee to come up with the most concrete answer through civilised debate.

GA3(02)
Mental health issues seem to be growing increasingly widespread. In their second session, the GA3 committee will discuss the best way to tackle the new epidemic, along with the advantages and disadvantages of any possible solution.

GA3(03)
As artificial intelligence and cyber technologies become exponentially more advanced and capable, civilians want to know just how capable of infringing on their freedoms and these technologies really are. The question of cyber surveillance on civilians will be answered in the best possible manner by this committee.
General Assembly 4

GA4(01)
This committee’s debate will cover the nuances, dynamics, and, most importantly, a possible solution to the ongoing dispute in the Nagorno-Karabakh exclave in Azerbaijan which continues to be a subject of turmoil in the Caucasus region.

GA4(02)
In their second session, the GA4 committee will discuss the ongoing subject of political terrorism in Southeast Asia, where crackdowns continue to be a subject of debate. For example, the Moro conflict in the Philippines remains controversial, although tensions have died down in recent years.

GA4(03)
The final debate of General Assembly 4 will revolve around the crisis in Venezuela. The nation’s situation has deteriorated severely in recent years and has developed into a massive humanitarian crisis which threatens the well-being of almost 30 million Venezuelans.
Why did delegates join their committee?

Most of the delegates joined their specific committee because they felt that partaking in a particular debate represented their interests and integrity. They thought that the debates were important to what they believed in. They also considered whether they were interested in the subject being discussed or not.
Security council - In Depth Analysis

The states of Israel and Palestine have been locked in conflict since the creation of the former in 1948. Since the Six-Day War in 1967, Israel has been accused of illegally building settlements and consequently gentrifying the Palestinian population on the lands that it acquired through the war. There have been many attempts to find a negotiated settlement to this controversial matter, and the Security Council shall discuss possible solutions.

In recent years, many nations have accused the People’s Republic of China of propagating disproportionate claims in the South China Sea, mainly through assertion of the Nine-Dash Line. These claims include many strategic islands and reefs such as the Spratly Islands, Paracel Islands, and Scarborough Shoal. This has led to disputes between China and many other nations including Vietnam, the Philippines, Brunei, and Malaysia. Said islands and reefs are found in one of the world’s most important commercial shipping lanes and contain great reserves of fish, oil, and natural gas in their vicinity. The locations of the islands and reefs are suspected to be the reasoning behind the South China Sea dispute. Many agreements and treaties have been signed to try to resolve the dispute, but with limited success. The Security Council of MUNISH will attempt to reach a consensus and find the best possible alternative to the current dispute.
